Reduction of the raised bus tariff

The Government of Tamilnadu announced the reduction of the raised bus tariff

 The Government of Tamilnadu announced the raising of the bus fares last 19. Opposition was also opposed by various parties including the opposition.

 In modern luxury buses will be reduced from 110 paise to 100 paise per km. The fares will be reduced from 140 paise to 130 paise per hour. 

The maximum fares for Chennai city buses would be from Rs 23 to Rs 22, while the minimum charge is Rs 5 to Rs.4.

All rates have been reduced to Rs. The loss of the tariff will result in a loss of Rs 4 crore per day.
