The deadline is extended till February 10 to apply for a subsidy scooter. The government had set a target for one lakh applications across Tamil Nadu.
The time limit for applying to one lakh has not been extended.
The Government of Tamil Nadu offers Rs 25,000 subsidy to buy scooter for women.
The income certificate, caste certificate and driver's license to apply for a subsidy scooter can not be achieved in a short period of time.
Therefore, despite the willingness to apply, many have not been able to apply. Last date of 5th February has been announced to apply for a two-wheeler at subsidized rates.
The Government has extended the date of application till 10th due to the failure to apply for all those who are interested in various procedures.
