Only the 7th grade in Tamil Nadu is no longer compulsory: School Education Department
The Tamil Nadu Government has said that only students from the first year of education in Tamilnadu will be compulsory.
Under the Free Only Compulsory Education Act, students from Class I to VIII should not be able to make a failure and compulsory passes. This led to the fact that students did not receive their classroom skills. The decision was taken by the central government to decide on the 5th and 8 th grades.
The amendment to the Budget Session of the Free and Compulsory Education Act is to be implemented and implemented. Union Minister Prakash Javadekar has already told reporters that the decision of the Central Government to implement this decision is the same.
In the meanwhile, a review meeting was held in the last few days by the Tamil Nadu School Education Minister Chengottiyan about what the federal government would do if it came into force. The meeting has been decided that it will be in force for the 5th standard and the 8th grade will be conducted.
Therefore, the Government of Tamil Nadu has issued a notification in this regard in the coming academic year and is planning to implement the 8th Class Selection Process.
